THE LAST DAY
and TODAY IS MY DAY OF PANXING.
Panxing Go! At 7 o'clock in the morning we were awakened with music at full volume, and the hospitalero reminded us that at 8 we had to be on the street.
The hostel is new, it's a very smart one which means that it is very nice but not very practical, anyway I can not complain, as always I slept as a trunk.
I walked through the city, I visited the Cathedral, the walls I walked in the old town and in the evening I went to Las Huelgas monastery
In the monastery saw in the Royal Chapel of St. James with articulated arms. Quite an invention of King Ferdinand III, to be named KNIGHT for the saint.
How good is local food in Burgos!
I said good by my friends, this has been the most sad after these days together, but ..... at home with the family is somewhat mevelous.
After walking and walking and walking.....and...., I arrived in Burgos, I've gone through charming places, the Rioja was beautiful because the vineyards had all colors possible. And small Castilla villages are all precious with its churches and main squares and...
I've been with a group of people than I met in the albergues and we made a big family.
Logroño
Finaly I'm in Logroño.
The Los Arcos - Logroño stage is 30 km, but if you are older than 40, you must know how "to walk" the last 10 kilometers.
I'm in a hostel for pilgrims in Logroño and it's a very nice one .
I've been walking through towns and beautiful fields full of vineyards some of them have not been harvested so ..........
I'm going to go out and see Logroño and tomorrow another 31 kilometers (with some cheating)
I'm very tired.
I'm very tired.
Very beautiful landscapes but my feet are painfull
I am with a group of 7 pilgrims: 1 English, a couple of Belgians, a French (older than me) and another French boy, jovencíssimo Italian, we have dinner together.
Cook Carolina yesterday, today me: potato omelette (salidi has very good and no stick) and apple pie. Bread, wine and a good toast.
The day after tomorrow our Italian friend Andrea is going to prepare a Rissotto.
I feel very tired but very well.
The Way passes through some villages that were born in the Middle Ages to give shelter to the pilgrims and have reached our days.
Today the final stage has been Estella, a beautiful city and good hostel
Today I left Girona and I'm going to Pamplona to follow some stages of Camino de Santiago
